1. General Use & Eligibility

By accessing this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to browse our catalog, view editorial stories, and make lawful purchases of technical apparel and gear for personal use.

You agree not to:

• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Outdoor Compass brand, product designs, imagery, or web content for unauthorized commercial purposes.
• Engage in any activity that impairs, compromises, or disrupts the performance, security, or integrity of our online store and systems.
• Submit fraudulent order information, impersonate another individual, or use unauthorized payment instruments.

2. Product Specifications, Sizing & Performance

Outdoor Compass designs and crafts technical mountaineering apparel, weather-sealed hard shells, down insulation, and trail equipment engineered for demanding alpine conditions.

• Descriptions & Colors: We make every effort to display accurate product images, fabric textures, and color specifications. However, variations may occur depending on your display hardware and lighting environments.
• Performance & Layering: Mountain weather conditions vary greatly. Apparel performance (waterproofing, breathability, and thermal retention) depends on proper sizing, systematic layering, and adherence to our garment care guidelines.
• Availability: Due to artisanal batch production in our Kathmandu workshop, select items and sizes may have limited availability. We reserve the right to discontinue or restock products without prior notice.

3. Orders, Pricing & Payments

All prices listed on our website are denominated in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and include applicable local taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• Order Acceptance: Receiving an electronic order confirmation does not signify our final acceptance. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, inventory shortages, or suspected fraudulent activity.
• Payment Methods: We accept verified digital wallets (eSewa, Khalti), direct bank transfers, major debit/credit cards, and Cash on Delivery (COD) within authorized delivery zones.
• Refunds on Cancellation: If an order is cancelled by Outdoor Compass after payment has been processed, a full refund will be promptly issued to the original payment method within 2–4 business days.

4. User Accounts & Security

When you create an account on Outdoor Compass, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and restricting unauthorized access to your devices. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content featured on this site—including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, videos, audio clips, technical diagrams, and software—is the exclusive property of Outdoor Compass Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws of Nepal and international treaties.

6. Lifetime Craftsmanship Promise & Repairs

We stand behind the quality and endurance of our gear. We offer repair services and craftsmanship warranties for functional defects, seam sealing, and hardware integrity through our workshop in Kathmandu. This warranty excludes normal cosmetic wear and tear, damage from extreme abrasion or misuse, and alterations made outside our workshop.

7. Limitation of Liability

Outdoor Compass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our website or products. Mountaineering, high-altitude trekking, and alpine exploration involve inherent risks; users are solely responsible for exercising sound judgment, proper route planning, and alpine safety protocols.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms or purchases shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.
